I am the President and Founder of Wiley Ideas, an event management and consulting firm in Washington, DC. Contact me for any of your event planning needs.
Before launching Wiley Ideas, I was a founding member and Vice President of Global Entrepreneurship Week and the Global Entrepreneurship Congress where I successfully managed national and international conferences of up to 4,000 attendees in the United States, China, Brazil, the United Kingdom, UAE, and Russia. Many of these event featured high profile speakers including Sir Richard Branson, former United Kingdom Prime Minster Gordon Brown, Russell Simmons, Snoop Dogg and Mark Cuban.
In addition I was also responsible for securing and maintaining over $2 million in sponsorships for GEW events form organizations such as NYSE, Dell, Ernst & Young, IBM and the United States State Department.
My PR/marketing and fundraising skills were honed early with positions at the Democratic National Committee and as an independent fundraiser for Congressional candidates and various statewide office holders. I have also consulted within the start-up community, helping to launch an education and training network for entrepreneurs.
On the policy strategy side, I have organized conference programming on a range of policy issues including: entrepreneurial growth and economic development; health care and genetics; renewable energy; education; and workforce development.
I completed a Masters in Political Management at The George Washington University and am a proud leader of the DC Oklahoma University Alumni Association, hosting weekly OU football events during winter months that regularly attract over 200 supporters.
